Catch of the Day Cooking Class with Terri Geiser July 19

Saturday 10:30 - 12:30 <br>In this class we will demonstrate 3 cooking techniques for preparing seafood. In no time you will be <br>making recipes that will have you cooking up a mouth-watering, quick, and easy seafood dishes you&#39;ll <br>love to make and eat. All prepared with the freshest ingredients, and herbs and spices. <br>On the menu:<br>Baked Cod, Mediterranean Style with Lemon Mint Orzo Pasta<br>Salt Roasted Shrimp<br>Chili Ginger Grilled Tuna with Goat Cheese Tortilla Quesadillas and Mango Lime Salsa<br>For dessert we will enjoy peaches while in season with a delicious Peach Cobbler Cheesecake.

Saturday 10:30 - 12:00<br>Reduce stress and sleep well with the help of herbs. Learn how to use calming herbs in formulas you create at home. Herbs can bring calm, balance, relaxation and sleep without unwanted side effects. Reducing stress and sleeping well is the key to good health. This natural approach is both safe and effective. Students will enjoy demonstrations, sampling and take home an informative handout.

Herbal Medicine Making: Learn to Make a Pain Relief Salve August 16th

Saturday 10:30 - 12:00<br>Students will see the step-by-step process of making a medicinal oil that we will formulate into a salve for pain relief. See how pain-relieving herbs, essential oils and other natural ingredients are combined to make this useful herbal remedy. Students will enjoy sampling and take home an informative handout.

Store Up the Herbal Harvest August 23rd

Saturday 10:30 - 12:00<br>We find it so rewarding to venture into the herb garden to harvest. <br>Preserving the bounty from our herb garden gives us food, medicine, and important self-sufficiency. Student will learn when, what and how much to harvest. See demonstrations on how to dry herbs, plus other ideas on storing the herbal harvest like freezing and even preserving them in vinegar. Students will enjoy demonstrations and take home an informative handout.<br>
