Saturday 10:30 – 12:00 <br>If you love nature inspired gifts and decorations like we do, then you will enjoy an afternoon crafting at the herb farm with Katherine! Students will create this beautiful ornament set using fresh herbs, evergreens, flower petals, cones, twigs, and other botanicals. These ornaments are designed to dry in place and be enjoyed for years. Students should bring gloves, a glue gun and dress for crafting.

Growing, Harvesting and Using Mullein (includes a mullein plant to take home) November 1st

Saturday 10:30 – 12:00 <br>Mullein is a large biennial herb with a long history of medicinal uses. Learn the best location to grow mullein and how to harvest the important plant parts. We will discuss the traditional and current uses of mullein as medicine, plus safety issues. Learn how to prepare a mullein infusion and oil. Students will enjoy demonstrations, sampling and take home an informative handout.
