During this demo/class by Kristin Webber, the Chicken Librarian, students will learn how to make homemade soap using a crock pot. This is an in - depth demo on all things soap making and information will include the step-by-step process, how saponification works, how to incorporate dried botanicals, carrier oils and essential oils, and important safety procedures to follow when making soap.
Participants will leave with one bar of homemade soap.
